The Hervey Bay Active Riders Inc. was established in 1977 and caters for riders of various abilities and ages and many equestrian disciplines.
We are a Family friendly club who prides itself on providing a safe & encouraging environment for its members. We hold a variety of equine events throughout the year & encourage our members to attend, learn, build stronger relationships with their horses & have fun participating & competing. Some of our events are: Sporting Mystery Trail Hacking All Breed & Youngstock Breed Shows Clinics with local Instructors Casual Beach Rides on beautiful Dundowran Beach Trail Rides We like encourage Members to join teams & compete at local clubs in different disciplines such as: Gunalda Ranch Sorting & Team Penning Gympie Ranch Sorting & Team Penning (please note separate club memberships are required for insurance purposes) We share our club grounds with Riding for the Disabled Hervey Bay Inc, Hervey Bay Pony Club & others wishing to utilise the facility. The grounds are overseen by DEPA, Dundowran Equestrian Park Association. Membership to our club entitles you to a world of learning, fun & friendship with a group of like-minded people. |
